Roger WORSHAM dedicates four decades of entrepreneurial vision to champion the responsible growth of safe and excellent pickleball across the continent.
Pioneering Pickleball Development in Costa Rica: Launched and led Jungle Pickleball® (2022), establishing a standardized operational model for facilities, which included: covered courts, fencing, permanent setup for Glow Pickleball, a dink wall, solar power, an air-conditioned gym, showers, cold plunge therapy, and a track record of having hosted credibly friendly leagues and tournaments with players from nearly 40 countries across five continents.
Social Responsibility and Safety Advocate: Co-founder and CEO of The Pickleball World Senior Federation, where he pioneered the Golden-Year Pickleball program, a social responsibility initiative promoting physical and social well-being for players 50–80+. He established crucial player and staff safety standards for basic life support, including First Aid, CPR, and AED protocols and training.
Local Governance Engagement: Serves as Vice President of the local governmental sports nonprofit, Comité de Deportes y Recreación ADI, integrating pickleball into community life in Costa Rica.
Decades of Executive and Operational Leadership: Proven success across 40+ years of founding and managing diverse enterprises, including manufacturing and international team management (BMX Bicycles, securing a U.S. Patent) and construction (held a Nevada General Contractor license plus six specialty licenses).
