Join the Global Movement: Building Pickleball's Future Through People –

The Pickleball World Federation (ThePWF) is a dynamic, rapidly expanding non-profit international sports organization dedicated to the responsible global promotion and development of pickleball. We are launching a unique Talent Development framework designed to cultivate future leaders and essential volunteers while aligning our mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) and IOC objective related to health, education, and sustainable development through sport.

We invite passionate individuals—including those currently enrolled in school who are 16 or older, and new graduates—to join our year-round internship cadre. This flexible, virtual-first framework ensures that anyone, anywhere, can contribute to the sport's global growth.

 

The Global Cadre: A Flexible, Year-Round Development Framework –

This program replaces traditional, rigid internships with a continuous, self-paced development path. It is explicitly designed to allow students, volunteers, and career-changers to join and advance their skills at any time of the year.

Pillar 1: Recruit & Onboard

Foundational. Assist with digital outreach, application screening, and volunteer onboarding.

Pillar 2: 

Train & Engage

Mid-Level. Help create training materials, support volunteer performance, and drive engagement initiatives.

Instructional Design, Content Creation, Performance Support, Community Engagement.

Completion of Pillar 1 or relevant prior experience.

Pillar 3: 

Lead & Sustain

Strategic. Lead key projects, mentor junior volunteers, and contribute to long-term policy and impact measurement.

Key Program Features –

  1. Virtual-First: Most work is conducted remotely, allowing for global participation and flexible scheduling that accommodates academic and professional commitments.
  2. Inclusive Enrollment: A primary goal is to engage students and young leaders from 16 and above, ensuring they can contribute and gain experience while in school.
  3. Mentorship Track: Advancement includes a dedicated mentorship program, pairing experienced leaders with new talent for knowledge transfer and career growth.
